The 2024 KIA Forte Comes With Advanced Technology Upgrades

2024 KIA Forte

The fully redesigned Forte for 2024 is expected to come with various updates, including a sleek designed front bumper, grille, and headlights, as well as adding several advanced technologies and comfort features available, complete with an available styling upgrade package.

The Kia Forte is rumored to get a facelift in 2024, although its two gasoline engines are anticipated to remain the only available powertrain options.

Although the Forte Hybrid is made in China, Kia will also release a hybrid subcompact car in the United States.

We believe the Forte EV won’t be included in the South Korean automaker’s promise to introduce eight new electric vehicles to the United States by 2029.

The redesign may bring more standard safety features and connectivity options to the base LX trim, but more needs to be confirmed.

In terms of comfort, the Forte is more comfortable than most cars in its class. The seats are well-contoured for long-distance comfort, and the headrest is soft and unobtrusive.

The road noise can be extinguished, and only a little wind and ambient noise seep in. Dual-zone automatic climate control works well.

We also like the Kia, which offers ventilated front seats, although the cooling effect could be more powerful.

The biggest knock against Forte here is its stiff suspension. It’s okay on rough sidewalks or surface imperfections, but it’s hard to smooth out larger bumps. The rear suspension, in particular, is problematic with uneven impact.

2024 KIA Forte Interior

Kia expertly created Forte’s interior. The interplay of textures gives the strong interior a sophisticated, refined appearance.

The infotainment system is simple and has physical buttons for all the necessary features. The controls are intuitive and straightforward to locate. Several adjustments are available for the driving position and the steering wheel.

The front seats are airy, with plenty of knee and shoulder space. Taller drivers also have ample headroom. Rear seat knee room is less than class leaders (and stiff plastic seat backs don’t help), but headroom is only a problem for passengers over 6 feet tall.

2024 KIA Forte Technology

Overall, Forte has a ton of functionally valuable features. The enhanced audio system sounds clear, and the touchscreen interface is simple. Standards like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make up for a lot.

Each Forte comes with forward collision mitigation, and a blind spot monitor is available on mid-to-high-end trim.

It’s disappointing that adaptive cruise control isn’t standard at any trim level. This is standard for many competitors.

2024 KIA Forte Engine

The Forte is currently only available as a front-wheel drive vehicle. Unless there is a change in engine options, the 2024 Kia Forte should retain the same engine as the Forte sold today.

The Forte is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The base engine is paired with a continuous variable transmission.

The 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the top-of-the-line G.T trim generates 201 HP and 195 lb-ft of torque.

It can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters.

2024 KIA Forte Release Date and Price

The 2024 KIA Forte is expected to have an MSRP of $20,585 to $25,285.

Based on the recent release cycle, we expect the redesigned 2024 Kia Forte to be released next fall, though we are still determining.
