2024 KIA Sorento Hybrid
New for 2024 is the Sorento Hybrid SX Prestige, or SX-P for short. It is the line’s flagship, featuring standard edition all-wheel drive with a center-locking differential.
The high-end SX-P also gets standard 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, second-row captain’s seats, a power rear liftgate, a high-end Bose stereo system, and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, among others.

It reaches the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, driving the EX’s front wheels with an optional all-wheel drive.

2024 Kia Sorento PHEV
Kia will probably bring back the Sorento PHEV for the 2024 model year with a simplified trim structure and a slight price increase compared to the 2023 model.
It can now only be owned in a complete SX-P (Prestige) trim and starts at $49,890 plus an additional destination tax of $1,295.
Previously, the Sorento plug-in hybrid could also be ordered in the more basic SX class, and now that it has been cut, the cheapest entry point for the PHEV variant is $5,000 of what you had to pay last year.

2024 Kia Sorento PHEV Powertrain

With a 13.8 kWh battery pack, the Kia Sorento PHEV provides an EPA-rated electrical-only range of 32 miles (51.5 km), and it takes 3.5 hours to charge from a Level 2 charger with a peak charge level of 3.3 kW.
Kia also sells the Sorento Hybrid, which does not have a long electric range but is much more affordable, starting at $ 37,885 for the primary front-wheel drive EX model, although also without many gadgets the SX-P trim gets. as standards.
