The X-Pro model shows a more adventurous personality and is aimed at models such as the Subaru Wilderness and Honda’s ever-expanding Trailsport lineup.

The 2024 Sportage X-Pro Prestige will have all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, and a locking center differential as standard.
In addition to the lightweight off-road fixtures with the regular X-Pro model, the $2,300 Prestige package also includes the following:

- A powerful front passenger seat.
For all the attractive and rugged Sportage styles, the Kia Sportage’s naturally aspirated 2.5-liter base engine is incredible.
It produces 187 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, but it should still be able to motivate modern small SUVs well.
Still, the combination of sharp accelerator response, a fast eight-speed automatic transmission, and protruding tires make for fast acceleration.
Sportage’s driving experience has many qualities. It is very comfortable on the open road, thanks to the supportive seats and the relaxed adjustment of the suspension.
At highway speeds, the Sportage travels with minimal wind and road noise. Steering is about what to expect from a vehicle in this segment — light and precise but largely invisible.
The feeling of brakes is predictable but stopping at 60 mph requires 128 feet, which is not great but beats rivals such as the Subaru Forester Wilderness, which requires 133 feet.
2024 KIA Sportage X-Pro Prestige Interior
The Sportage X-Pro has a 12.3-inch dual screen, giving the impression that this is a complete luxury vehicle.
Kia also includes a suite of traditional mobile device technologies, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and wireless charging.
And while there’s some plastic inside the Sportage, the car we tested also had a nice blend of soft surfaces and leather lining the cabin.
Geometric surfaces that make the interior space attractive but more controversial are the dual-mode radio and HVAC control, which use a single capacitive touch interface to switch between the two functions.
Those who mainly use automatic settings to adjust the fan speed will be okay with this setting since the infotainment button will be displayed primarily, but whenever someone needs to adjust the temperature, press the button once more times than usual.
Sportage X-Pro Prestige Safety
Kia Sportage receives Top Safety Pick from IIHS, and a myriad of active safety systems add extra safety blankets. Kia includes:

2024 KIA Sportage X-Pro Prestige Price
The SX-Pro model starts at $38,085, which rises to $38,895 per fixture. While this Sportage looks like a formidable off-roader, the advantages of using the X-Pro stop there.
Subaru’s Wilderness model offers a bit of money regarding ready-made crossovers, and the Jeep Cherokee X or Trailhawk provides more off-road capability for the same price.
