New 2021 KIA Seltos USA Review, MPG, Interior – The KIA sees the latest subcompact Soul company or its all-new mid-size Telluride – and it adds Seltos to a rugged look to the lineup for 2021. Seltos offers sharp handling similar to SUV but pairs with a higher rise height, a roomier cab, and even more technology. Two engines were offered – a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder-like a good front-or all-wheel drive.

2021 KIA Seltos Models
The best value lies in Trim EX Seltos. The SX Model will come loaded with almost everything, but the EX is well equipped, too, but it’s a lot cheaper. The all-wheel-drive will Ratchet up the price of all four versions, but depending on where you live and how you plan to use Seltos, a feature may not be necessary.
2021 KIA Seltos Engine
KIA offers two different four-cylinder engines in Seltos: A 2.0 liter that makes 146 horsepower or a 1.6-liter turbocharged that pumps out 175. We were able to sample the Seltos with a 1.6-liter turbocharged in Korea and found its power to be more than adequate. While the base engine is decimated for continuous variable automatic transmission (CVT), Turbo comes with an automatic seven-speed. ALL-wheel drive is optional with both machines.

EPA predicted that Seltos would provide the MPG figure quite efficiently, which is surprising because of its mechanical shares with Kona. Highway fuel economy is expected to be as high as 34 MPG for front-wheel-drive models with 2.0 liters of four cylinders. At 200 miles we highway fuel-economy test route, all-wheel-drive Kona with 2.0-liter returned 33 mpg; A front-wheel-drive model with a 1.6-liter managed 34 mpg.

All Seltos models will have a touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, but optional 10.3-inch units are one to obtain. It offers navigation and the ability to split the screen so you can view the map and direction at the same time you make changes to the radio station.
Depending on which model you choose, Seltos can also be equipped with a wireless smartphone charging pad, up to three USB ports, a Head-up screen, and a 7.0-inch color display in a cluster gauge. The Bose audio eight-speaker system will also be an optional option and comes with fractal textured speaker grilles.
